Ingredients:

For the marinade:

  • 2 tbsp. rice vinegar
  • 1½ tbsp. low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • ½ tsp. fresh ginger root, finely minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp. chili flakes
  • ½ tsp. thyme
  • ¼ tsp. fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp. sesame oil
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • 1¼ lbs. flank or loin steak (You may need to ask your butcher for it.)

Directions:

  1. Combine all marinade ingredients in a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Coat steak with marinade and let sit for 2 hours or overnight.
